Planning

We systematically monitor and analyse all published competitions on a daily basis with a current focus on the Central and Western European market.

We continuously maintain and expand a dense network of clients, experienced engineers, specialists and innovative architectural firms in order to draw on existing relationships immediately after a competition is announced and to bring together the ideal team depending depending on the design task.

Before each participation in the bidding process, visionlab researches by contacting possible partners on site whether an invitation can be realistic and with which team this goal can best be achieved.

Application

visionlab activates existing contacts with possible local offices, engineers and specialists and, in consultation with the client, puts together a design team tailored to the respective competition profile.

Through its participation as part of the design formation, visionlab increases the chances of the application with its numerous experiences in the field of coordinating international design groups.

visionlab collects all the necessary documents from the team members and uses this material to create the application in a design that presents the group as a homogeneous unit respecting the client’s corporate identity.

Competition

We analyse the tender text and, based on our experience and local knowledge, are able to read between the lines and draw our partners' attention to its subtleties and advise accordingly.

We accompany the client during onsite visits for the first contact with the contracting authorities and the local partners in order to break down cultural and language barriers.

We conduct detailed research on legal regulations and construction requirements, help formulate queries to the contracting authority and provide information on the type and scope of the documents to be submitted.

visionlab negotiates with the design partners about their participation in the competition in terms of performance and fees, and in any subsequent phases that may need to be defined at this point.

We advise and inform about additional contents and coordinate the exchange of information between the planners in order to ensure that all planning contents are taken into account. We check the final documents of the team members for completeness and offer to take over the timely submission of the competition documents.

Design & construction

During the various project phases we support the client in project management and in particular in the following areas:

• Coordination of the cooperation with the project team, including conflict mediation
• Finalisation of fee negotiations
• Registration with the respective local architectural associations
• Taking out the necessary insurances
• Calculation and submission of invoices
• Calculation of fee adjustments
